@g1 As long as you learned "WHAT NOT TO DO" from your recent employer and will not perpetuate those practices with a current/future employer YOU ARE AND WILL BE SUCCESSSFUL!

Some folks were part of the FNV4 Power Supply team and they were thrown under the bus for appearances. The supervisor and manager knew exactly what was coming, well before the storm hit with the new clowns in charge.

Most of us have already moved on to better opportunities.
But Ford’s actions left a mark on me. I won’t forget. Ever. I’m done with the automotive world. Let them cannibalize themselves. I know they’ll never deliver on anything meaningful. I am with a better company now.

@dq It's especially hard if they have no excuse for firing you other than "we don't need what you can do and we don't think there's any way to ever learn anything else," while there are job openings for people who know what you know and can do what what you do.

Thoughts and prayers. Now turn in your we-pons so that criminals, revolutionaries, and other tyrants can do terrible things to you with the we-pons they have kept.

@bz You could always set the example and surrender your job to a visa holder. We won't pray for you or think of you either if that will accelerate your HELPING!

Thoughts and prayers. Isn’t that what Americans do instead of actually helping people?

Flailing is a good word choice here. When you have to layoff as much and as often as they are, it shows gross incompetence. I would have done the same thing and am ready at any moment for that tap on the shoulder to leave. No questions. Leaving before they tell me or before I have something else would be silly. If one day the badge doesnt work its a double check to make sure its not defective or a glitch and walk straight out.

Four rounds of layoffs in one year while I was there. I quit after the last round. Management is flailing.
