It’s rude and self centered. Like get some sense of wherewithal. Would you like our early meeting be 630 am for you?! Oh no? Ok then use your brain and not your 🫏 to book meetings it’s bad enough I’m going broke on the commute and food coming in everyday. I don’t care to be late for the one home cooked meal called dinner waiting for me. 😡. Stupid waste of time effort and money but but it builds collaborating! B S 🐂💩

Why do people choose to be ignorant, when things could go so much smoother for not just themselves, but also for everyone else, if they'd just learn the basics?
Looks like someone needs to be properly training admins./jr. associates and whoever else creates and schedules meetings over at your place. Maybe schedule a meeting for it...LOL.

@af - the problem is that people don’t even know how to use outlook properly to see whether someone is busy. It’s basic but people here are too bright. With RTO people need to pay attention to when people are in the office. If im in salt lake I’m not getting up at 4 am to jump on a call.
Have you relayed this reasonable stipulation of yours to the meeting organizer? Communication is key. Some people forget about that. People can't read your mind, and unfortunately, it's common these days for people to not possess a lot of common sense. So it's either be annoyed with their lameness/inconsideration, or gently instruct/remind/guide them into doing things in a way which makes more sense.
Chances are if you reach out to whomever's organizing these meetings, and explain the situation, they'll accommodate your schedule. Just block off on your calendar whatever times you're not available (do this in advance of contacting them about accommodating you), and remind them to check everyone's availability before sending out meeting requests.

So can you decline the meeting invite stating you aren’t available at that time because you are commuting then?
Can you not just decline and say the meeting is outside of your work hours? It's what I do. Trained the Texans to remember I work in Boston.
