Work from home people impacted across several locations in Operations.

@k0 if they’re smart they’ll look into discrimination against this place. Forcing this status while that building is owned by bny yet sits empty while they continue to let wfh go is bullsh-t. There are many other wfh locations too so people need to keep that in mind and not think its just oriskany and they continue to close more.
@bb same here but earlier this year. No manager should
contribute to BS reviews to loyal hardworking staff. Happened to me earlier this year. It used to be daily that I prayed karma will get her. I try not to think about it much anymore but every now and then I do. Karma will come eventually and I will laugh my a$$ off when it does
@OP heard rumours of laying off people due to increased AI usage
@j7 there’s about 325 employees left from Oriskany/Syracuse
Any Oriskany WFH left?
I have it on good authority that Ben Slavin intends on laying off hundreds in the coming days
@bb Is she still at the firm and which location?
@b2 don't do that
@bb karma always comes back.
They target work from home folks because they don’t have the skills to manage them or any skills for that matter. ‘Managers’ that contribute to false reviews to cheat loyal staff out of severance, bonuses, etc are sh-t. I reported to one. The worse manager I’d ever reported to and she knew she was bad because others told her this to her face. She was promoted to a managing director several months before she made up sh-t to rate me BE. I pray for the day it all comes back to haunt her.
When they said work in office 5 days a week I did that. When they said everyone work from home I did that. When they closed my office and told me to drive further away to a different office 3 days a week I did that. When they closed that office and told me to work from home I did that. Now they want me to train my replacement so they can get rid of me because I don’t have an office to go to. Make that make sense.
@a4 good question. Apparently wfh folks are not liked by sr management but they were forced into these statuses by them while offices they own sit closed for two years. Make that sh-t make sense . And all while ensuring wfh cant get promoted or anything else because of that forced status
Confirmed
California and New York remote workers.
So they can move more to India obviously.
Any reason for targeting wfh folks?
@OP which locations?
