I general I think word is slowly trickling out that employment at Ford isnt in your best interest unless you are desperate (which some are unfortunately). People have seen these layoffs of high performers. Conformance gets you promoted more often than performance does. Even that wont help you when some program fails. Expect them to make a rational decision? They'll do the opposite.
Ford stand no chance for the future now. All people who made Ford are going to be gone, now the dus-hba-gs in power to control the undefined leftovers. They have no visions and don't understand what is to transform from here. Lunatics and goofs !!!
Is it all going to happen in September or will it spread out from July to September? There’s a lot of retirements announcements in May / June but now it’s awfully quite.
@a4 if that is true then it stars with BF and JF. They gave vision and direction. Buck stops with them not some gsr 7 or 8.

Number of laid off employees is directly proportional to the number of recalls. I think elementary school students even know that.
In other news, Toyota has a no-layoff policy and makes boat loads of money.
