You are damned right we are arrogant. Intel is who you dreamed of being. Now you get on top, and Intel is breathing down your neck like a freight train. You know your days are numbered because when Intel is at its best, the competition has zero chance. Too bad TSMC cheaper out on High NA EUV. They will write books about your fall. Intel is back baby!

Going to be good for low to mid and trash at high. Already begging TSMC for N2
This post in WHY Intel can't have nice things. Nobody wants to work with you anymore, Id--t.
Even if 18A were better than TSMC process the problem is that people would have to work with Intel in order to use 18A. No one is willing to work with Intel and tolerate the arrogance and abuse.
Intel 18A position is, "what we are thinking of is better then what (TSMC) has"
Do you see the flaw in this? Intel talks a good game, TSMC delivers leading edge silicon.
Paper talking does not count. Waiting for 2027-2030 does not count.
Why don't you get a real 18A product on market and make it profitable for Intel?
It's true. 18A is better than people know.
Intel. All mouth and no action. You’re already late on this one. Why don’t you shut the fu-k up and come back with a PRODUCT!
Truth. The return on invested capital here will be deep red. It's pretty sad, but at least Pat was somewhat honest... he called it a 'moonshot'... maybe 'cr-p shoot' would have been a little closer to reality, but who is quibbling.
EXTERNAL foundry revenue including packaging
2023 = $568M
2024 = $385M
2025-Q1 = $34M
This is all public information from Intel’s 10Q.
Notice a trend?
Intel will never recover the cost of capital.
Nobody is buying this.
Everything is actually pretty awesome.
I don’t believe OP knows the difference between being humble and being humiliated
Intel's free cash flow for the latest 12 months is negative, at approximately -12.83 billion USD
Good luck with your science fair.
Nobody is buying it.

Such an arrogant post. What is your proof Intel is better? What is your proof that Intel can make its own chips without out-sourcing?
@a3 PRT*
Why bother with Taiwan, then?
