Received email from head of product that do not come to office on Monday and Tuesday, as there will be structural changes.
Any idea who might be affected.

Dpd org is total politics. Ran by tech exec that does not know how to manage most projects. Got laid off today as well

DPD is a horrible org run by an awful executive who only worked on failed products their entire career. Who brought over hacks from Amazon, who couldn’t manage a McDonald’s.
None of this is true by the way. Ford would not layoff Americans days after July 4th. The aesthetics would be pathetic in nature, not to mention people are likely on vacation which would complicate the whole project. No one worked the weekend to push the button on this.
Digital Product is a terrible org, not because of the GSRs or even the LL6s, it’s the LL5 plus who get paid tons of money to deliver no value and simply micromanage their teams to he-l.

I would assume you will be required to report to the office Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday to obtain your minimum 3 days in office for this week.

I always wonder if they really expect everyone to be reading emails on the weekend.
Hard to say which people got the email. Sometimes only those not impacted get the email. Other times all get the email and the sorry we don’t need your services meeting is remotely done.
