Cisco best place to work 2024 (UK)

They've done it again, number 1 spot in the UK best large company to work for. Incredible! How do they do it?

I remember working at Cisco and having a sychophantic exec leave a voice message on everyones desk phone reminding them to vote for this "great" company. Luckily I was LR'd a few months later from the company they had bought. I've never worked at a more ethically corrupt, employee hostile company...

Jackboots are now in style in the office.

From someone older than five, it's been this way for decades.

Cisco isn’t so bad if you can get past the mediocre pay, scant advancement opportunities and sh---y leadership.

Just keep your head down, do nothing like everyone else, and wait for your severance. Super simple stuff.

Mafia culture has become so predominant in Cisco that leaders literally threaten direct reports to keep them straight and to mind their business & shut up. LR and PIP are used so commonly, morales are all time low. As a result no productivity or customer focus.

This is beyond a fix or a cultural mandate.
