Why not leave? The grass is greener on the outside, or so I've heard. So why stay?

How many fu--ing times are you going to ask this question?
I'd like to try to make it a better place instead of running away.
And part of that is ignoring d-mb mandates.
the pay and benefits, and the fact i rarely have to work weekends, 50 hr weeks. etc. I am fine with GM, even with the new policy (which has been going on since Feb, just nobody did it). I will be happy to see us get rid of this entitled mentality though, where nobody has to go into work, or actually output any work, etc. Its running rampant. A little economic downturn will clean that up real fast. This 'i deserve 150k for doing absolutely nothing' mentality will change real quick to one of..... 'wow none of my friends have a job, I'm so happy to have my job.' Bring on the Recession, America needs it apparently.
Don’t worry, your lives will be turned upside down soon. It’s a CT until it happens.

Silent sacking
Quiet firing
Corporations are now making their employees very uncomfortable in a ploy to goad them into quitting. It’s not just GM.
Once you realize this, the next thought is… if all of these companies are squeezing their employees, where are the opportunities?
What’s keeping anyone at GM? They are STUCK!
How long before it all backfires? Employees who are stuck can grow very resentful. They slow down. They start to gum up the works.
See you all tomorrow bright and early.
It takes time (sometimes months) to find a new job.
In the mean time, why quit and go without a paycheck?
