This page tends to have about 20 regular posters.
At least half are former 3Mers, the rest are primarily upset current 3Mers. Meaning of the regular posters on here only 10 current 3Mers (from 80,000ish).
On average a post has around 2000 views. Assuming a person views a post twice that’s around 1000 discrete individuals. My guess is that the views are 70/30 (current vs former) employees.
More frequently, we are seeing a post being positive-ish, which quickly gets shot down by the regular posters as either non representative of the masses or “from HR”.
Agreed, moral is down & that agree that senior excecs don’t appear to inspiring a solution, but at the same time, I feel that we also have to observe that these threads are extreme end of negative 3M sentiment & these 20 regular posters don’t reflect the exact feelings of the silent majority.
I’m all for ppl having their say, I understand that venting can be cathartic, but I’m struggling with the pack mentality that is coming through against those who don’t 100% want to join in on the M&M pile on.
Some of us are rooting for the company, despite the current situation. After all the company is more that M&M.
