You really hit a nerve with your post! This is definitely resonating with most people I know especially with OUS team members. They are living under the constant fear of being "next". What do you think this sort of psychological stress does for employee mental state and morale? Will people actually put in their full effort fully knowing they can get notified any day now and not know when the nightmare will end?

Zero transparency about where 3M is at with the first round or the second round of layoffs. Are they done with the first 2500ea? Are the done with the second 6000? Are they working on future layoffs now? It would be nice to know when the bleeding stops so we can start to heal and stop going to work concerned that we may be turned around and sent home due to an unexpected layoff. 3M has 100% of their staff with this on their mind daily due to lack of awareness of where they are at. Safety should be the first thing on people's mind but if you're worried about your family. Focus isn't on doing the job safe, it's about the many other things that are occupying our minds that need rest.

These were separate from the 6000. HIS did not hit top or bottom lines according to president of the division. All facilities employees were let go, not sure who else but as of right now no HIS facilities will have a dedicated employee for facilities requests.
