Dear Model e employee who things things are so to rosy

What are you prima donnas going to do when the train station opens next year and Ford tells you to drive into Detroit everyday or work for someone else? He-l no, no RTO? Go find a remote job for someone else? Or be the good little sheep you are and drive to Detroit, pay for daily parking, as well as the Detroit city income tax?

LOL that will be the real test of how much you all seem to think Ford Model e can do no wrong!

There are people who are eager to work at the Train Station. I worked at TFAC when it opened. Then we were bumped to the mall to make room for AV. Now I am at PDC and I tell you I would pick TFAC any day of the week. Even the mall was better than PDC.

I remember when TFAC was first proposed. A bunch of old timers like all of you raged on and on about what a bad idea it was. Then when it opened, they all wanted to work there.

You will all want to work at the Train Station too once it opens.

Don't need to go to the office, there's no accountability on deliverables, projects don't have deadlines, and no one in management is even technical so they just take your word for everything lol.

I love the ego trip Model E is on. The business split into groups to save itself. Personally I love EVs and won’t go back to an ICE vehicle. However, that doesn’t mean the customer will and there is that potential that EVs could flop. If that’s the case then Model E would be put into bankruptcy without as much harm to the other parts of the business. No group is better than the other, we are still One Ford. It takes all of us to thrive now and in the future.

@pfv+1mkDKK1B Pull your head out. Are you unable to see that shipping jobs to low cost countries caused more damage to the local economy than you and yours losing your job would. And make no mistake model E will take significant cuts as 1) they aren’t producing and 2) everyone knows it will be 30 years before EV might be profitable - and by then EV will be remembered as a massive blunder.

Take a step back and look what those 2 jack@ss's Farley and Billy have done..... They have divided us by pushing social justice initiatives and now by splitting company into Blue and E. They have created hostility by playing the E folks against the Blue folks and its working. Its the old divide and conquer trick, but it was accomplished by accident.

OK, Anonymous @OP+1mkDKK1B, so what are your recommendations? You are very quick to criticize but give no action plan or alternative. So maybe that is why you were let go! Or worst, taking up desk space for another employee. Ford is not going away anytime soon. Sorry to burst your bubble. It amazes me that you are bitter and want to see thousands of people lose their jobs. For what, your frustration? Did you lose your job? If Ford goes down, so do some Tier suppliers, the restaurants that still feed quite a few employees on their lunch hour, not just the car company employees. The ecosystem that is built around a car company you want to destroy? I guess that shows how well you thought this through.

I was surprised to hear how many Modle e colleagues actually wanted to return to office. Especially GSRs and LL6s. Then it occurred to me - they can't get 'face time' and kiss @$$ like they used to when they were working in office. The LL5s are almost worse though. They are able and willing to step on and hold down anyone that doesn't fit the right mold. And I never got the impression that any of my LL4s or above cared about me one way or another. GSRs, and even LL6s are just fodder for them to use and replace.

The majority of Model e are repeaters and echo chambers. Bobble heads. Their primary path to success it to have the nearest leaders 'like them'. Being good at their job is not a concern - being 'liked' and 'protected' is their main goal. They laugh at every joke and never disagree.

And most importantly, they never have an original idea. Many of them aren't capable of original thought - they were most likely selected to that team because they were 'team players' who never disagreed with anything anybody with a higher tank ever said. Some have simply lost the ability to think independently.

However any of them got there, their focus is to repeat back exactly what the leader just said. The only original things that they say are similar to this OP post. Something completely kiss @$$.

I presume OP is a jealous Ford Blue worker whom rather be working in Model e where the transformational future growth is for the company.

Your energy would be better spent reviewing the internal job posts for a Model e position that you may be qualified for. Trust me, Model e is where you want to be going forward.
