Don’t know how someone got 4,000 employees, but for the Carbon Black side of the house, it was around 40 sales managers that were given 2 months notice or offered a package. It’s all based on territory realignment now that CB is it’s own BU and doesn’t need to align to the core anymore.

The number was 300 or less than 1%. That's what we were told at meeting yesterday. And it'd over/,done now. Not performance based. Consolidation etc ..
well that's the catch22, give us a juicy severance and somebody will gleefully leak to media/twitter
They don’t have to issue a press release about layoffs if they give people enough severance. I’m not sure what that number is but I bet 2 months is more than enough to cover the gap.
There's so way lol. 4k is more than 10% of our workforce. It would hit the news.
I believe it was 4k across the company not just CB
