In the present leadership era, apparently it’s perfectly acceptable to drop a bo-b right before a holiday, and then make sure all VPs show out of office for the rest of the day so as not to be bothered by the peasants. Meanwhile, I’m sure they are using AI to figure out talking points on how everyone is valued, we’re still a family, blah blah blah…CDW culture, or what it once was, is DEAD.

Was Edwardson better than what you have now - maybe but the long slow decline post MPK was set in motion by Edwardson. He was the first one in charge that forgot it was Coworkers and their relationships with customers that made all the difference. He was headed down the DEI path long before it was in vogue - he just cared about the wrong stuff.
@a3 It took yesterday to pound that into my thick skull. I already miss talking to my coworkers and customers everyday. They are the reason I stayed a dubber, but also made me blind to the greater dysfunction.
CDW was the best job I ever had, but in retrospect it ended years ago not yesterday.
@ab I've seen 5 so far Practice VP for AWS, Intelligent Platforms, SE Majors, VP Design, and SVP PPM, I've also heard there were a few allowed to retire early and that a couple more are getting told yet today, but are out on vacation.
I left in Q4 of 2025 as I saw what was coming with GTM and all the SPS to SF BS and restructuring (by just shifting customer accounts around).
I saw legacy directors and VP's that knew the business and knew thier teams (including me) all get "pushed out" gently without using the term fired.
I also saw my commissions drop by 35-50% while I was hitting 100%+ and selling more revenue and GP than I ever had in the decades I'd built my book.
Where'd all that $ saving go? As one person posted on LinkedIn, Leahys pay rose 300% while they decreased the pay of everyone else they consider just coworkers.
I've heard the term "we're all one company" anytime I or someone else was gwtting shafted. You'd think they'd use some new terms but every tenured person has heard all the BS. They want a company full or newbies that don't know any better and will just keep slaving away because they're happy to just be employed.
Wonder what Krasny and Edwardson think. Richard's is probably rolling over in his grave (R.I.P.)
AI can't save CDW because the people using it aren't the brightest.
Well I know of at least VP who was laid off
@aa which ones? give examples
They're busy at the world cup... check LinkedIn. A disgrace.
@OP CDW is not the same. Come on, people, look for better opportunities.
Its been dead for 5 years. As someone who left at the beginning of this year, it su-ks to see you guys still be there and suffer.
