I spent many years at Intel, gave countless weekends, nights, and holidays to the company. Part of many crazy requests, challenges, achievements and glory.
For the later half of my last decade saw many of the cracks show, through leadership changes, saw many strategy changes, saw many new silly and bold initiatives. There were two constants, FAILURE and fanatical belief Intel would win the next time.
Let’s be serious look around, what is Intel’s competitive advantage these days beyond arrogance and blind fanatical belief Intel has a right for technology leadership and ignorance of the competitors position of strength ?
Don’t be surprised when you can least expect or afford it this company will kick you to the curb in a layoff l! Look at the leadership team you think they care about anything but their career, ego and paycheck ? Have the any fear or humbleness to acknowledge the weakness and precarious position and contingency of any sort for failure… well they can and will lay you off to cover their a$$
