Education benefit no wait no they cut that.

I know matching charitable donations and volunteer grant program. Oh wrong again that was also cut.

Medical insurance oh no looks like that isn’t as good as it used to be.

Training. No haven’t been given anything to develop me in years just the mandatory stuff.

Own office wait we don’t do that anymore.

A career. Da---t not even that!

They raised the pay scale back in 2010. It only benefited the new hires though. We oldies were stuck at our pay for years. When we protested we were told the cost of living has gone up since you were hired. It costs more to recruit talent now. Of course now it should cost less with all the BTC Indian hires. Exxon gave more vacation time due to experience back in 2018. Before this we were capped at ten years experience for vacation. I got an extra week immediately. That was good.
PPTO was good as well but I had my kids long ago and only got a week or two off.
Oh well they have streamlined the piping process.

I got a free Chik Fil A sandwich this week. (Houston campus) I was genuinely surprised by the generosity.

If made redundant, will you still be entitled to the RSU which are still being vested?

@OP WFH was allowed during a pandemic.

Next time this happens, expect them to force everyone to show up anyway, no matter the risks to your health or safety. Don’t worry, they’ll be giving all their great strategic insights to Bloomberg and CNBC from the comfort of their home offices, just like they do now.

There was a time when the company hired cuties. I still have the Pavlovian response when I hear heels click-clacking down a hallway. Those were the golden years for curves and tents.

We got coffee! Amazing benefits.....oh also tea.

But a raise or bonus? Nah. Be happy you have a job. Don't question why other companies make more than us. How dare you talk to others.

You mean like how the paper process benefits you because it develops you to be a better employee?

Not really, they keep taking. And this is not going to stop. Not sure what would need to happen for that to change. Maybe some major labor shortages, etc. Last time the workers were getting something was during the WWI and New Deal (labor shortages) but it seems to me that since we switched to 'shareholder first' line of thinking (mid 70s) the worker and the country (and the customer) went into the background
