@dg SPOT ON! I wish they would stop their leadership programs and events that preach about growth and new opportunities for MCCers (great programs, by the way). However, at IBM MCC, it's laughable, and everyone knows it because it is not possible/reachable.

So many managers, so little management. Right now IBM couldn't manage its way out of a paper bag. POS company.
IBM has always been over managed It’s one of the bad behaviors that moves forward within IBM. Gerstner was able to stop that behavior when he entered the company (he 1/2’ed the management team) as he didn’t have an historical past. As legacy management came back into the upper positions, the over management crept back into mix. There are two ways to fix this Hire an outside CEO, or dictate a percentage reduction (Like meta did) and be aggressive.
There are still VPs reporting to VPs in MCC but sure, attack the already depleted band 10s again, why not? Literally no semblance of an upward moving career left in MCC unless you were already at VP level. KG reporting to SM are both jokes. Kick them out first!
Band 10s in MCC- that’s hilarious….I have an idea….why don’t you thin the leadership pool for letter bands instead of getting rid of people that actually do the work. JA is such a complete joke.
Overheard in OMA an exec in a meeting confirm there is an RA happening.

@b7 yes, that explains why Adashek has done nothing for all the years @IBM but look good and collect a hefty paycheck.
The first true qualified sales lead that came from anything IBM Marketing did in 40 years will be the first. Marketing at IBM and virtually every other company is SUPPOSED to create awareness then demand then preference then sales for a product or company but marketing really is just a huge money sink hole where they spend money on things that do nothing to help sales and often times quote how many times a white paper was downloaded etc like that is a qualified lead?! Marketing has always been a place in companies where people "can go hide" for short term or even their whole career.
Someone said it’ll primarily target band 10s America.
