Glad they continue to show favoritism for in office folks when they created separation amongst staff. Lets pretend wfh staff doesn’t exist on any level except to pick up the dirty work, But lets continue to ensure in office staff get goodies , parties and recognitions. Great job making everyone feel part of the team

It will be interesting to see how much the "productivity" has increased, even with their internal Jira burn-rate and velocity metrics (I believe they will be "cooked" to claim RTO has increased productivity), once these teams are 4 days in office. Sooner or later the long commute hours and the associated fatigue will play a role.
This can give them cause to remove more people and send them offshore.
The "contribution" from home will significantly go down. The off-hour support will vanish slowly.
@dq I agree! Those on my team in office are useless and lazy, though job protected! Those who are remote, work hard and have the most work!
Believe me, the in office people would rather work from home and be treated as less than if it means they don’t have to commute for 3 hours a day.
@dq 100% agree as my team is split and the issues all primarily occur with the in office staff. Makes no sense how sr management doesnt see this as an issue
I come to the office solely to drink free coffee and doom scroll through my phone. Don't you?
It’s actually worse than that—employees who work in the office know their jobs are safe, while remote workers are the ones being cut. As a result, the in-office staff are slacking off big time.
@ce more useful actually than the trash sites they keep promoting as great
Well two strikes against you. You aren’t based in India and you WFH. You are basically useless.
We got free coffee.
@ac not everyone has an office anymore hello
If you feel this way, you should come back to work. We are just partying all day long
@OP You get goodies, parties, and recognition? We got dragged back to the office and get none of that. All we're doing is wasting time and money driving to an office building for no reason.
We just had another two SMEs quit because of a combination of RTO and working with offshore managers who treated them like dirt. Our knowledge base is getting smaller by the month.
