Remember when IBM was falling down a few years back and how smug we were about it? We should have learned from them. Out fall is far much worse

"The board should be investigated" is the truth.

PG regretfully announces 15k layoffs in Jul 2024.
LBT abruptly resigns from board in Aug 2024, citing the need to spend time with grandchildren.
Leaks of LBT vehement dissatisfaction w/ PG's plan - and other directors - immediately follow.
PG resigns (fired) beginning of December.
LBT hired in March 2025.
Cadence pleads guilty to illegally exporting EDA tools to China from 2015-2021. All under LBT's leadership.

Did the board violate its fiduciary responsibility in allowing LBT to leave under the circumstances he did?
Did LBT?
Did LBT have enough time with grandchildren after 7 months?
Did board hire LBT as CEO to protect itself? Or could they find no one better?

Building a fab in Ohio with no customers, no products, and no know-how doesn't sound like a great idea.

Sh-t, torpedoes are now hitting the USS Intel. Fraud investigation about Intel Ohio along with the publicity about LBTs conflict of interest with his Chinese semiconductor investments. How many more hits can the USS Intel take before it sinks?

Really the board should also be investigated, starting with Frank Yeary.

Congratulations on appointing a traitor as your CEO. It’s all investigations, bankruptcy and lawsuits from here on out.

@OP

A lot of people here are going to downvote this comment, but the reality is that in the past 6 months a lot of bad stuff is coming to the surface for tech companies.

For the ones with TDS, no, this is independent from it, focus on the topic, what's happening is bad. A company that has been around fro 60 years... sad, sad.
