I can only assume that means more layoffs are coming. Not necessarily a major round, but small groups here and there. Just enough to ensure we never get even a day or two of peace of mind.

@bb Baltimore Country in above post should be Baltimore Company - I guess I hit something wrong and autocorrect "helped"
@ba I have heard that a lot of this C suite group have worked in other places where their main "contribution" was to contract everything out and move on. I can't believe this storied Baltimore Country will mostly be foreigners. Funny how they made a big deal about people having to come back in office for "collaboration and culture". Meanwhile they are moving entire functions to people in other countries because they work cheap. That was a lie as was wanting to lift up Blacks and Hispanics and G-ys, etc. because they even admitted in a Town Hall they really don't care that they are hiring people in foreign countries because they are contractors who won't be hiring Blacks, Hispanics, G-ys or Whites and US Veterans either. DEI was all for show.
@ae "Some Third-Party Risk roles and activities will shift to the Privacy team while others will leverage external vendor partners."
They're going to contract out "third-party" risk management functions?? That's completely nuts.
@OP "I can only assume that means more layoffs are coming. Not necessarily a major round, but small groups here and there. Just enough to ensure we never get even a day or two of peace of mind."
The beatings will continue until morale improves.
@ad "...key risk functions will shift or consolidate. Business Resiliency and Physical Security & Safety will be moved under ERM oversight. Some Third-Party Risk roles and activities will shift to the Privacy team while others will leverage external vendor partners."
@ab what did Ted's email state?
Ted Carter just sent an email about reorgs within the Risk department.
@OP What particularly have you noticed? Seeing a lot of people talk about marketing
