Anyone hear back after submitting request to work remotely. Seems like you have to jump through hoops even with dr note.

Be careful with this. You are asking for a “reasonable accommodation” to work from home. Ford may say you must be in the office to do your job and not grant your request and then lay you off. This will be perfectly legal.

Now this might have some teeth. You have a legitimate reason to not work rto with a doctor's backing, as long as you have a record of your attempts to reach them you are good. Matter of fact I'd hope for them not to. If they are stupid for that. Disability discrimination hits different and even with a well funded legal department, not accommodating this is hard to defend.

If you can’t go in then don’t. Let them fire you for your disability, the courts will decide who is right.
