We’ve been left hanging for how long now? No clarity yet on who’s getting cut. The anxiety is crushing. We all have lives and obligations. How are we supposed to plan anything when we don’t even know if we’ll have a paycheck?

@OP it's just business. It sounds like this is the only company you have worked for. This is life. Gone are the days of long tenured work. You should always be on your toes, checking the market, and it you want to be a part of a successful company, you have to be or do your part to be a good steward.it all boils done to making money. When employees dont contribute to the growth contribute to the bottom line, a company can only go so far. You all knew this was coming. Come on, three years of not paying your parent companies. Pay raises and annual bonus still paid out. Has anyone seen a projected direction noted? If you don't know where we are going, you run amuck. We have been driving off on a dirt road for a while now
I have been laid off due to budget cuts in another company in the industry. I will say that I prefer having advanced notice rather than getting the unexpected pink slip on a Friday. It gives plenty of time to prepare, which I find extremely convenient. Trust me, you don’t want the surprise boot.
I think leadership is stalling as long as they can just in case things turn around and they don’t have to do a layoff. Once a layoff happens, culture will certainly go down the drain.
