Saw this today....I wonder if these job fairs are a way to bring in people to apply for both the card and a job...no discount without the card....

Rumor here is we are hiring for inventory ? Because we don’t have the staff to cover inventory at night AND staff the sales floor when we’re open. If that’s the case, I guess new hires won’t be scheduled after that.

You can walk into any belk store and see that they are not hiring anyone. Some stores are running off 400 hrs.
@OP no we dont really hire people. Its some way we say we are hiring but probably get some kickback from the government because we look like we are hiring but in fact we just hire more flex people that don't get called in to actually work. Its bad.
