Too much profile politics in leadership to be able to make Cisco great

Leadership can't make changes because leadership is the problem. Too many incompetent VP's who don't even understand what they are leading.

The nepotism is not acceptable in USA.

In case you hadn't noticed, the resume of the kid now in charge of US terr0r1sm prevention was bagging grocery. The level of stupid in this country goes far beyond nepotism.

...to bring back the better work culture.

In the context of Cisco as a software company the work culture has always been poor. You're confusing competence with the happiness of getting a lot of fast growing stock to write cr-p code. The question of "what can Cisco do to keep doubling it's stock over and over again" has been asked and answered here many times: nothing.

If you want to lead the parade rather than follow the horses at the back with a shovel and a bucket you're going to have to do that at another company.

@bh don’t try to fool us. The nepotism is not acceptable in USA. Some VPs have been pushed out last year.

It's called work. If you don't like it; leave.

If you don't like the fact that the normative behavior is for most to simply look out for themselves; leave.

There is not solution. Move on if you are looking for something more than a paycheck. Do the bare minimum and play the game. Do not expect affirmation, a trophy, some sense of redemption, or social justice. No one cares, when push comes to shove. It is a game.

Can not have over 90% software engineers from same country...

Yeah! The cr-p developed in the US in the 1980s and 1990s continues to plague Cisco! The money we paid them to fail so badly - horrific.

Thankfully there were other companies to acquire that didn't require Cisco to have development skills to integrate. Those days are over which is why Cisco is choking out.

We need employment laws to enforce diversity at Cisco and other tech companies.

Can not have over 90% software engineers from same country, where the nepotism is popular.
The software quality is unbelievable bad.
They are so good at flattering their bosses , arguing with peers and covering their stupidity
