Its year end.. do yo still think 100$ ? i know we are on/off 52week highs.. but 100$? is there an AI (real AI, not that anonymous I.d.an cr-p) reason for CSCO to see 100$?
ok its starting to go down.. !!
LR'ed people selling or keeping stock?
When I was first reading this post, I was smiling. Now I'm not sure. CSCO will not reach $100 by September but I see that feasible by the end of the year.
wow $71.50, Either Aug 13 earning report too good or major layoffs coming ?
You are a mo--n if you would invest money in CSCO. Even worse to invest your time.
If didn’t work at this h3ll hole, I’d never buy that with my own money.
So its approaching the same price it was at 25 years ago ?
That does not sound like much of an "Investment" to me.
we have new 52week high $70.14.. are we still hoping for $100 ?
Dont sell your ESPP yet... wait until CSCO reaches $100 in September
I will wait!
@a4 will it split? You’re adorable.
No shot at CSCO getting to 100$.
FY2025Q4 will be the first time year over year measurements will include whatever is left of last year's full $4B annual revenue and $1B annual earnings Splunk reported before being absorbed. In the mean time YoY revenue and earnings look better than they should, and Cisco is still well below inflation adjusted FY2023 revenues.
Am I the only one wondering why Cisco is hitting (non-inflation adjusted) stock prices not seen since the spring of 2000?
@a4+1jz47x9md Why would the stock split? It’s trading in the upper 60s…
Unwise move; nothing to do with the company itself. You are double-leveraged.
First leverage is the time you are spending working at a company.
The second leverage is you are then taking the money made while working at that company, and investing in its stock.
All goes good if you keep your job and the stock goes up.
The inverse, you loose your job, and the stock does nothing, or goes down, is also a future possibility.
A better choice would be to yes buy ESPP, but as soon as it vests, to then roll into a simple market index fund.
Use common sense with your time and money. Do not be afraid to walk away at a moment's notice. Do not then also convert your wages earned there, to then buy more discounted stock, paid also with the time spent working at the same company.
Sell Cisco and buy Arista.
"Arista Networks has not publicly announced any large-scale layoffs in its history. The company has generally maintained a positive employee rating and has seen consistent revenue growth. While some smaller adjustments or restructurings may occur, Arista has not been known for widespread layoffs"
My unit is dam buy / prod side
Good luck on holding this stock. Keep waiting until it hits 100.00. Once the REAL numbers are released CR and his Palo frat boys will move on to zScaler
Of course this is where all the great financial advisors hang out, just like the all knowing geniuses saying RTP is closing.
@OP do you think csco will split ? :-)
Yep, I'm holding 250 shares too.
