@a2 why would you only get 60 days. They said the ISP people would get the same 2 weeks for each year of service up to 52 weeks.

@d7+1jyjdxkkc How is the ISP worse than the VSP? The only difference I saw was the health insurance. If you have a spouse that has insurance you can get on it at anytime with a job loss. You get the same amount of weeks up to 52 (most people won’t even have that with time served), you get to keep your limited partnership, and you could potentially get unemployment. With the VSP you would not.

VERY poor choice to turn down the VSP. I am so glad I accepted. The rest of these folks have to battle it out for their jobs and an ISP that’s not as good as the VSP.

@a1 that would be age discrimination.

@a1 would that person have 41 years of service?

Yes, multiple leaders will receive ISP. 60 days to find new role or must leave firm. It is already happening.

@OP, I'm thinking if 3k VSP were offered. The firm may go after the associates who are old enough to have retired by now with an ISP.

I know ONE person who is well over the retirement age and yet they've decided to see what happens. I think this was a poor choice on their end.
