I'll just leave this here, let's see how well it ages: SMG will be completely outsourced to Accenture

@ht It's been fact for a while.
This was published on the Oregonian today. It is fact.
Let's see how well the post ages. I'd bet the @OP will be happy, and yet, I have no insider knowledge. I do know that Accenture was buying marketing and ad companies left and right, so I would not be surprised if they were to take this on. 20% will go to the Malasiya, some to India and the rest to Brazil. So much for keeping white collar jobs here. We already fu---d the blue collar guys so, there you have it. It'll age well.
Fact that Accenture now runs Intel marketing. I assume a small skeleton crew remain to do things that just can’t be outsourced or to drive strategy that Accenture performs.
The rumors have been 80-90% cuts in marketing. No numbers given official yet. But I can’t see how it won’t be a massive hit.
Impacts Global Operations as well, no insight at to how deep.
@cd it's the entirety of operations. If you work under John Kalvin, you're done. Even John was overheard in the cubes yesterday saying that he's applying for a new internal role because he'll no longer have anyone to manage.
Just the marketing part of SMG is being outsourced, right?
That would be insanity of the highest order. Fake news
Which intel exec has ties to Accenture? Christoph? LBT?
Accenture. Now there’s a company that knows how to deliver late, over-budget, and 75% complete. They already zorched the Supply Chain transformation, might as well throw SMG to them too.
The denial is real.
Hubspot won that RFP, actually.
@OP I don’t believe this.
