What happens if folks don't take the VSP? Currently from a good source I heard it's not a lot of folks.

Have heard the opposite as well by a good amount.
@OP I have actually heard the opposite- that more people took it than expected. Who knows that the truth is though.
I'm betting they will do ISP and it will not be pretty. It will be a warning shot to the rest of us rubes when we get our turn of "cascading" this summer and get the VSP offer. People will then know that chubak & company mean business. Gotta get the numbers looking good on paper so aquisition stays on schedule.

@OP they will "participate" in the restructuring process
ISPs (involuntary severance plans) will be rolled out to the roles they identified that they want removed.
They have a target of “hundreds” in mind that they want to sever in this cascade, so the amount of VSPs taken/accepted will dictate the volume of ISPs rolled out.
