Thread regarding Edward Jones layoffs

“Humble hustle” borrowed from Citi

See below, even our “humble hustle” slogan was taken from Chubak’s time at Citi. I guess we added “hungry” in there to make it ours. Are we not capable of having an original thought?

He definitely has more charm than brains. His ideas are baffling, like he wasn’t worried about AI as we have Advisor Intelligence. Still, he might be a better MP than PP as long as he doesn’t sell out the partnership. He’s fake and a little cheesy but at least he has a pulse. PP will lie straight to your face.

I’m still hoping for a homegrown former EJ FA with real experience (not 4 months at a time covering FAs on paternity leave), but he’s got PP under his spell.

Its origins doesn’t matter. What matters is it’s the same gameplan that resulted in tens of thousands of layoffs at Citi.

@cb it’s actually borrowed from a 2016 book by Brad Lomenick

Hilarious! The ELT is turning this firm into a joke. I used to be proud to say I work at EJ. Now I just go in and put in my time and head home. EJ is now the same as everywhere else. Ted’s dream is dead.

@OP Great find! I swear everything we do now is "borrowed" from someone else. Hungry Humble Hustle Swag or whatever it is called is nothing more than a CITI rebrand. Lol
