Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

PepsiCo is not the same...

PepsiCo is a nightmare. You have Craig who can't spell SAP leading the IT SAP space, Vivek the original bulldog - do as he says not as he does or you're on his hit list, Sankha do not let the saint act fool you, he's a s-xist, egotistical, horrible people manager of woman, Saravan an even bigger ego-maniac who will stab you in the back faster than you can blink and Dave the least empathetic people manager all in it for himself. Every day was a new nightmare working there. Your health and work/life balance is more important than the pay and dealing with this. Although I miss the caliber of people there, layoff was the best thing to happen.

Talk of corruption, Craig was put on SAP board for enabling that corrupt company which had to pay over 200 mil$ for bribery last year. I am sure they paid snr mgmt to put this failed 2tier software.

The post is correct, the bullying in primarily from the Indians. We must push back as hard as possible. On a daily basis we are given blackmail messages from these Indians. Enough. We will push back by either walking off and will no longer work with these racist bullies until HR steps in. On the meantime document each of their written threats. They are bold by putting in writing.
This is your ticket to get legal.aid outside.

@ay •unfortunately there’s been several cases like that. PepsiCo became so toxic that I do hope that consumers will start seeing PEP as a toxic brand as well. You cant separate for too long the toxic culture within from the ‘ positive brand image’ that the company wants to project outside!

Bully mentality comes from Consulting and India. HR just ignores it! I’ve heard of bullying being reported to HR to hear that person being let go. When you’re unmanaged and you promote those unqualified and provide no management or leadership training, this is what you get.

@OP -I agree with your post. There are more bullies in leadership, and if you stand up for what’s right or disagree with them, you risk being targeted. If our S and T leader is a bully, what can Dave do except look out for himself? Santosh has figured out how to navigate this situation and has moved into an SVP role despite managing only a small organization. Thank goodness G-yatri is gone; I believe Athina was aware that G-yatri was vying for her job, especially since G-yatri had insulted Athina in meetings with Yogesh, with Ajitha laughing along. I’m sure those two would quickly speak ill of G-yatri if given the chance. No one in Santosh’s organization is happy, but due to the poor job market, they’re staying put. Only those who agree with leaders like Dave and Santosh will get promoted; others will just end up feeling frustrated. There is outright racism occurring in organizations like Dave's. I believe he often highlights his white folks while Santosh manages to control the Indian employees since they lack the courage to stand up for what’s right.he prefers them and that’s why he kicked Eric off as he stood up for him.
