My boss and their boss have been separated under SIRP this morning. I have no access to email (can get in but cannot send emails), cannot print and cannot attach files from my laptop using personal email. I haven’t received a call or meeting notice yet though - just waiting at this point. Trying not to let this cr---y process taint my opinion of this company that has provided well for me and my family for 35+ years.

It is tarring sad that they are using Involuntary separations rather than voluntary. I wonder why this change? For many years they relied on voluntary separations. I was kind of looking forward to leaving voluntarily (retiring) if the package was good enough (9 months). Maybe next year?
It feels rather uncaring and heartless to do involuntaries when they could just as easily do voluntaries.
I logged in this morning to find a meeting on my calendar from my LL4. Also tried to print a document unrelated to Ford and could not. Was let go during the meeting. I am in IT. Best of luck to you all. There is life after Ford.
Time to get everything out of your desk if you have one because it my be too late tomorrow.
@OP sorry to hear. Use the time to gather anything you need. Ask a trusted coworker to email any doc you need to a private email address.
