Legally, as company properties, Ford can monitor for business need,
however. Ford is really too needy, like a wife asking s-x 20 times a day...
Ford's antiquated IBM mainframe "Green Screen" will outlive us all. No CIO has been able to ki-l it. It will prevail long after Jimmy CarCar is collecting Medicare.
The laptop and email system do not belong to you. Ford can monitor as they please.
well....
I was a researcher in censorship....
Ford's laptop, unfortunately, is one of the most bugged device, along with iPhone. the configuration is dramatically different from ordinary digital devices you would normally encounter. As researcher in censorship, China has been the worst for a long time, but surprisingly, Ford doesn't come far behind. Both Ford and China are even worse than Russia ( before the war, of course ) coming to bugging your device considering the scale. Russia has very advanced censorship and spying in certain areas, but Ford and China are very huge in scale coming to spying.
Ford's computer is so bugged and it is not easy to encounter similar devices in the US for civilians... It is so sad and frustrating.
Definitely worst of all time this time.
A lot of folks are paralyzed right now until next week falls. Rumors without facts are feeding these spirals. Was this like this in the past with rumored layoffs, or has this separation plan dragged a lot more this round than in previous rounds?
@OP "Very few emails as if the company is on summer shutdown"
I have noticed a reduction of emails and meetings too. I believe it is due to the pending layoffs. People are more concerned with finding another job, than keeping this one.
Solar flares
A lot of corporations will start backing up employee computers if they are on a layoff list. You may notice this as unusual activity when you log on in the morning. Not saying that it is or isn't, but just a heads up.
Probably just our trash computers and systems honestly.
