Well, disappointment after disappointment, I’ve decided to leave GlobalFoundries. The toxicity and ineptitude here is on a level I’ve never experienced, and I’ve had some sh---y jobs.. Do this for my own physical and mental health.. f’ this place

Am planning to leave soon.
Never tell HR and the managers where you going. AME is worse. I heard they go out of way to approach employers to give bad review and they were successful in one case
Agree- do not tell anyone where you are going.
I can confirm 2 stories where hr or the gf mgt contacted new employer to share under guise of “last employee review”….. which of course is negative since they are leaving.
It is also a very odd awkward and unprofessional move on Globalfoundries part. I heard in both cases the new employers were basically like “ok this is strange for you (Gf) to reach out like this but we don’t care and your GLOBALFOUNDRIES so we don’t give a sh-t about your opinion”
you sure took long enough to figure out to leave.
Spoiler alert. Never let the HR know where you are going. There have been horror stories.
True story….

Same on my side until I started having frequent migraine bouts with he leadership constantly flip-flopping with their decisions which made me drag my work till wee hours in the night. Pathetic
Congratulations! I am right behind you. Getting some things quietly squared away before I drop the announcement.
Ditto on mental health and physical health!! I can’t tell you how many lunches I skipped and 14 hr days I pulled in past 2-3 years. It became the norm. The physical piece didn’t really register with me until my wife mentioned that I never eat lunch and physically always exhausted. I also dropped weight (unhealthy drop) from just working all the time. She brought it up - we discussed- and realized I was slowly ki----g myself with almost zero upside. No promotions no raises nothing….. I am out too. Can’t wait to put my notice in!!
Yea fu-k GF
