Not just unvaxxed, I'm vaxxed and got my walking papers yesterday. I was told it was "fiscal" and not performance. Makes for a great Christmas. Good luck, everyone.

The real RIF happened in October. This RIF will be for the unvaccinated only. HR and legal are getting prepared in case of lawsuits.

Corp is always restructuring - no shocker there.
A sale or spinoff, if they were to occur, would take months from the date of announcement.
A Q1 RIFF is highly unlikely unless the LOB really messed up their forecast vs budget request.

The next RIF will be all the UN-vaccinated. More and more companies are requiring it for new hires. Damn, my local car wash has a Help Wanted sign up. The sign says applicants
must be vaccinated. Get the shot and save your livelihood.

Hey folks, let's get real for a minute here. Anyone who does not think a new RIF is coming soon 1Q2022 whether it is a sale or spin-off or a restructure is simply not in touch with reality, have you seen the stock chart? If you have not, I completely understand you are clueless.

I understand Verizon needs the backbone fiber, but why can't it sell it with wireline and lease it back from Frontier, the same way as saying Verizon needs the cell towers but sold them and leased back right? In a way, Frontier is/became really the old Verizon Wireline, they have FiOS and much of the old Verizon wireline. Frontier has revived a bit from the dead to stomach a new deal. They took the bait before and bit hard.

We would have to pay Frontier to take Wireline.

Wireline fiber supports wireless . VZ fiber is also used by other wireless providers , VZ fiber also provides the networks for many industries and govt uses not just Fios .

Will wireline be sold to Frontier? Or will it be spun off to die a slow painful death? Verizon can no longer have both high debt and wireline, one has to go or the drag on the stock will continue. Like it dropped DSL for FiOS, it will need to drop FiOS for 5G Home, Auto, Business, etc. except this time it can just use only the lighter wireless systems. Wireline systems are too difficult and expensive to support with the staffing levels.

This ALWAYS happens following a significant RIF when the company appears floundering. I would expect significant changes from Exec Director up to SVP. Hans warned them.
