Well actually I’m thankful this Happy Thanksgiving that I survived another layoff.
It’s amazing as a management failure that I’m still able to hide under the radar and survive the layoff since my manager and his boss are part of the same clan.
We arrived at this place together and protect each other through all these silly corporate actions. I know this will be a great place to retire from. All the RSUs vest every year and we don’t have to produce anything.
This company is such a great place to be as long as you have friends in the right places.

Most of the surviving incompetent management feels this way.
I Can understand their point of view, why fight , just throw hands in air and go with the flow as long as possible.

@OP well said. So many Sh-trix people are cowards. Their survival is determined by the rest of the gang.
To the commentor: Citrix will always have job ads, even if they have no jobs available. It's too keep the resumes coming in so they have some to review if they do decide to start hiring. Also it looks good to appear as if they are hiring.
I don't know, may be we all come to an end stage where all you want to do is drag on and draw retirement as late as possible, come on, we all need a break at the end of 50s.. hence I just think milk the Citrix cow as long as possible and be as thick skin as long as possible, do whatever against your own will, which in a corporate world, there is none dignity anywhere any more.. I see all executives doing it across the company they were hired in, why not us? prolong the fight and drag it on, use whatever method, HR case, urgent med long term leave, medical emergency, I see few of my peers doing it and getting away with it and not being in this wave? why not?
somehow I still see job ads for just today Citrix on the boards, was wondering what is going on even when people are letting go?
