Thread regarding Raytheon Co. layoffs

CRT a way to decrease employment levels?

Let’s give this a thought how will CRT possibly help thin and the employment levels I’m sure we’re looking at quotas particular race gender hires have to be in those quotas and how to CRT factor in. Because if we think about it they could get a decrease in employees based on CERT and not have to label them layoffs and those particular employees would not qualify for benefits of being laid off I wouldn’t count as layoffs in the company profile so would look better on paper zoom when you have that train of thought

RTX's "CRT" issue was probably a decision that flew under-the-radar as a simple means of ja--ing-up the ESG score. But just like at universities, it invited-in the equity and social justice cult. And like everywhere else, those cult members are capitalizing on their power and social leverage.

I wouldn't go so far to argue that there will be race quotas; again, they were probaly trying to "be competitive" in terms of ESG scores. But to your point, consider that "CRT" or a company's commitment to "equity" applies pressure on A) older workers to leave, B) moderate and conservative workers to leave, C) HR and hiring authorities to prefer candidates based on "oppressed group" status. Their recruiting literature and web pages practically express as much: Diversity hires are the target and preferred candidates.

But yeah, if CRT is the lemon, you can bank on decision makers to capitalize on it to make their version of lemonade, in the same way that companies use economic down-turn to justify cutting employees they do not like.

I think it has more to do with saving a buck for the company. In So. CA, even the new college hire engineers are in the middle bracket (I believe there are three). Imagine the money the company is saving with this.

I don’t think Lockheed or Northrop is going to those types of healthcare plans. Raytheon is the only one being super “woke” currently. I expect may to leave after this takes effect. Even more so after whatever they have planned to change next year as well.

Does anyone know if Lockheed or Northrop are going to Health premiums being based on salary? If not, we can lose lots of folks due to this change.

Oh look, the grammar police. Something written in a forum didn’t use perfect spelling and punctuation.

@OP+1cnHGf6w,
I think they should lay off folks with your kind of GRAMMAR. You forgot to put a period at the end of your one sentence which happens to be longer than 3 paragraphs. Did you mean CERT or CRT? Did you mean zoom (verb) or ZOOM (noun)? I have no idea what you are saying?!!

Sounds as ridiculous and stupid as you put it. I think the original poster has some serious racial issues he needs to work out

So if you are not a minority then you could be first to be laid off?
