Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

Don't tell me you have to stay here because there are no available jobs

There has never been more jobs on the market than there are now. Grow a pair and take the step you've been putting off for who knows how long.

I agree with OP. If you know it’s awful, then get some courage and find a job somewhere else! That’s what myself and many others have done, and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made! You can talk about how awful things are until the cows come home but guess what? SF doesn’t care. So put your energy into getting out. Unless you are close to retirement, there is no reason to stay.

@OP+1chqkvJI How kind of you to tell people what to do. Must be executive level with all that compassion, consideration and tact. Just overflowing with the milk of human kindness aren't you?

Asking for a friend-do you lack ability or courage?

For those of you who are being abused or overworked, please don't forget what you are doing to your mental and or physical health. You don't see it now but believe me, it will catch up to you.

@1lsh If these discussions didn't exist, then you would be left by yourself. Whatever would you do with such boredom? Maybe you should be the one to move on and find better things to do if you're not interested in the discussions posted.

@1lsh. You making a fool of yourself posting stuff like that and ridiculing. People can do and say what they wish.

What’s the point. Layoffs and organizational concerns & feedback all go together. Especially with the Vivify fiasco!

You must have a charmed job or just like to act superior or “smart”not just be an “a—h—e.

Sounds like your the whiner or part of the problems there.

LOL-this site has long ceased being about layoffs. It is now the site for SF misfits to whine and cry about a job they hate but lack the ability or courage to change. Yesterday someone was talking about their grandfather in WWII -hilarious.

@1ujc Well, you should have learned by now that SF does everything it can to reduce staffing by making employees unhappy to avoid not having an official layoff. BTW, 'The Layoff' is just the name of the website. Obviously this forum can be used to discuss other employee/employment related issues.

Maybe the OP comes here for the posted purpose of this website, layoffs ,and doesn't want to hear the dribble from those who are unwilling to take actions to better themselves

Face it, the luckiest day of these posters lives is when they got hired by SF. Sure they complain and btch but they stay anyway. Which means they know they can’t do better.

"Record jobs"
Yeah most of them at $8-10 an hour.
How many are at actual living wages? I bet not that many.
Mostly service jobs in the restaurant business or fast food.
Don't let the headlines in the news fool ya.

sigh ....its obvious OP also posted the first 2 replies... if you are going to post replies to your own post dont be too obvious, wait until someone posts and make your replies less obvious that they are biased.

But I'm important. Everyone should just do whatever it takes to make me happy.

I deserve better. I have the participation trophy's to prove it, just ask my mom.

Why should I try and get a better job?
