I agree with OP. If you know it’s awful, then get some courage and find a job somewhere else! That’s what myself and many others have done, and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made! You can talk about how awful things are until the cows come home but guess what? SF doesn’t care. So put your energy into getting out. Unless you are close to retirement, there is no reason to stay.

For those of you who are being abused or overworked, please don't forget what you are doing to your mental and or physical health. You don't see it now but believe me, it will catch up to you.

LOL-this site has long ceased being about layoffs. It is now the site for SF misfits to whine and cry about a job they hate but lack the ability or courage to change. Yesterday someone was talking about their grandfather in WWII -hilarious.
@1ujc Well, you should have learned by now that SF does everything it can to reduce staffing by making employees unhappy to avoid not having an official layoff. BTW, 'The Layoff' is just the name of the website. Obviously this forum can be used to discuss other employee/employment related issues.

Face it, the luckiest day of these posters lives is when they got hired by SF. Sure they complain and btch but they stay anyway. Which means they know they can’t do better.

Mostly service jobs in the restaurant business or fast food.
