Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Here comes the attrition

Within my department a once talent hub of epic proportions, there has been more than 15% of that team that have left for positions in other companies. At first it was the layoffs, then it became a game of "favorites" where managers, senior managers, directors, team leads played the "echo chamber" games of patting each other on the back while destroying the Fusion Center. Same applies to so many other departments. I've watched dozens leave, and today I found out 8 more geniuses are also headed out due to this echo chamber. So why are they leaving now? Didn't you hear yet? There is another round of layoffs coming, and peers are worn out from the liars, and wanna be professionals. Once upon a time, some managers were insanely talented and cared. How many managers have I had in 4 years? 5. Let that sink in. My resume is polished before this next round of layoffs, and in the event you haven't heard about it - you're out of the loop.

I’d love to get a 60 day notice and just half a-s it for a while

Was there really a "talent hub of epic proportions" anywhere in the company? And what the h**l is the Fusion Center? Generally, where do you work? Turnover is very high, and the race to lower prices begins with job cuts and shifts to India. The expense ratio will decline as the mix of business shifts towards direct, but the claim department is not effectively controlling costs due to workloads, inexperience, and use of vendors that will raise loss ratios faster than competitors.

@OP
Well apparently you haven't heard about it either, or you wouldn't be vague. Details or it didn't happen.
