Pretty much worse leadership of all time. Wasting my career.

Valid point about taking responsibility for your own choices, however that doesn't mean that people can't voice an opinion about their "leaders"
Personally I have worked for big companies who did value their employees even though there was an underlying a**e-kissing culture.
The problem I see with NOV is it's like a runaway train that's going downhill, the brakes won't work because the weight of all the freeloaders who were shoe- horned onboard when they had money to burn. When they had an opportunity to "re-calibrate" the company, unfortunately the "leaders" were found wanting and totally unfit for the purpose of retaining the right people to enable the company to survive. Because the majority of middle management are yes-men, they circled the wagons and kept their own yes-men, hence the resulting steaming pile of horse-s**t that remains. The only purpose it serves is to attract flies!
Ah well, when you let children have sharp knives!
Leadership at NOV compared with non US corporations is really bad, can’t say it’s the worst but must be close to it.
NOV talk a good talk, people are the most important assets etc but they don’t walk the walk, it’s all just words to try to make themselves look like they care about employees
@OP+181Gmt0s, Whom are you comparing leadership to? The previous company you worked for? Have you ever worked for another large company?
You made the choice to stay here at NOV, so you wasting your career is all on you. Put on your big girl panties and learn to live with your life consequences.
Monday again it soon comes around another week of pointless posts here on the NOV BB yes the asylums are empty again Monday to Friday roll on weekend
Only sayin like
Exactly how much is product knowledge worth these days? It's all been documented, right? Every company has let go of so much product knowledge that aren't they all equal? At this point, the customers probably know more about the products and how they are actually used than just about anyone at NOV, anyway.
This leadership has wasted many long term employees careers. They will never overcome the product knowledge lost. But I'd be willing to bet NOV's competitors will love it.
Some like to sink with the ship. Others we prefer to FLY!
Quit whining like a 2 year old and make a change if you're not happy here.
But you get it, right?
