Email sent out today from the Chief Exec of lottery stating “tough decisions need to be made”. But don’t worry, Also stated the company will come out the other side strong.
At least they fired a warning shot I suppose.

Why has no one in Project/Prodect Management or Compliance been touched?
R & D Utility Engineering was just furloughed for 4 weeks as of this morning.
does anyone know how many people got victim of RIFs between Friday and today?
Totally brokenhearted. A lot of people lost their jobs today. To be honest, this might have been a blessing. It's no secret that there's a major problem with the management, especially in the Reno gaming department. Good luck everyone!
What about other departments - Graphics, Systems, Compliance, Product/Project Management they are all over staffed.
Position elimination in Vegas - Gaming Ops. Found out today in a bluejeans meeting.
Well, I'm in the department of over 16 people with one teepee six directors and a bunch of other workers. None of us got cut and no salaries for reduced.
Not that I'm trying to talk myself out of a job for having a salary cut but if I was looking out for me I would look at our department as many of the people are doing duplicate jobs. And most of the time we don't have that much to do. The department keeps getting position
And we keep hiring people even though we really don't need them. They're my opinion Arroyo should be embedded on the Departments that we support that would be a great cost saving to the company.

Any updates?
I am safe.
Hate to confirm with other people are saying here, the directors MVPs did not get laid off nor did their salaries get cut
Yes, I feel lucky to have left also. Feeling sorry for any decent, honest worker bees remaining at this company, hoping this situation provides the impetus to them to seek out better companies to work for that truly value you.
As for the nepotistic gits up top and their lackeys who have been milking the system all this time, this is the fate they deserve.
Sure, at times like this, they'll change their tune, sweeter words for their worker bees, hoping for some loyalty in return. They'll try assure you that they'll make it through this, but just think of the enormous debt they have, and that in future, whenever the world economy coughs and sneezes, their predicament worsens.
They do not deserve your loyalty and you do not owe it to them. They've been taking care of themselves and their buddies for years.
So my trailing thoughts to remaining worker bees, take care of yourselves. If that means moving on from this place, so be it, have no remorse, no regrets.
Who all got laid off?
I am glad I am out of gaming and SCigames also, it is an outdated industry and full of favoritism.
What is sad about the layoffs is it is not the directors or VPs it is the people that have to work and need the money to survive.
Yep! Furloughs until 6/27. I am SO glad I left that $h1tbox and glad I left gaming tech. Miserable industry full of outdated garbage.
I know several directors and VPs they still tell me that they are safe...
Furloughs happening in Vegas today.
What about the US and Las Vegas?
Multiple employees being laid off from Scientific Gaming Digital in London and Athens. Exact count is being obfuscated by management.
Any updates? I been with Scigames for 12 years and have not heard a word, all my friends are still employed and we are at full pay.
The pay cuts aren’t effective until the pay period starting on April 5. I’m sure they will be affected.
I saw this last night: https://www.cdcgamingreports.com/scientific-games-furloughs-workers-cuts-pay-to-help-company-weather-coronavirus-crisis/
However, the directors and VP's I talked to state they have not been effected so who was?
To respond to @9wuc+143oP2ES. Employed.
I know that some people have been furloughed in the Alpharetta and Vegas Office. I know that CS is working from home and I know that there was an outbreak in the Alpharetta plant over the weekend.
Are they giving severance to people being laid off?
Has anyone heard of any layoffs on the Lotto side?
Furloughed in NY
Has Scientific Games. To look at their high-paying vice presidents and directors who have absolutely no people underneath them or that are duplicate jobs of what product management ,
Project management and customer service do they have a lot of duplicate
Positions and departments.
600 plus on gaming furloughed. Most contractors too. It’s until June 30th. Insurance fully paid by the company until then, including employee portion.
Not sure about layoffs.
I know several directors and vice presidents at the company and they have told me that their salaries were not touched.
I heard about some layoffs today in California. Nothing about 2 week furloughs. Seems weird that they would do only a 2 week furlough and do it for everyone.
Where did you get the information about individuals still employed having to take a 2 week furlough? Are you on lottery in GA or gaming?
The layoffs did not only occur to hourly employees. Salary employees were involved as well. Plus those who are still employed will need to take a two week furlough w/ options on how to use or be paid.
Stimulus package would not apply to Scientific Games since they are a gaming mfg company that cater to the hospitality/c-sino industry. SGMS is on their own.
Unfortunately, the 600 people cut our hourly workers. Their salary is low and if anything they should have been spared.
600 employees have been RIF'd and 20% cut for employees making $75K and over, 10% for $50K to 74,999.
Where are you finding that SGMS is getting a slice of the bailout pie? C-sino's yes.....but I can find nothing stating SGMS will be included.
I am not sure how the company will survive if they do not cut high paid staff or file bankruptcy.
Simply relaying what I have heard. Be prepared.
That seems unlikely. Pay reductions already in place, lots of hourly staff furloughed, and the stimulus planned passed with c-sino industry included for benefits based on NOT reducing the workforce.
Heard RIFs may be starting next week.
