Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

Humana

Humana has a history of penalizing loyal, hardworking and smart people. While keep promoting bad leaders from one role to another.

Humana has a culture issue. Mid level management keeps hiring bias. They don’t want smart people, they want obedient employees who can work heads down. There is no way anyone who is smart can work at Humana due to its culture of politics.

At Humana majority wins even if that is completely wrong.

Unless Humana fix culture issue, I don’t see any reason why smart people will want to work for it.

Leaders promote their friends who have no business education or leader experience, and then they browbeat those who can actually do the work. They talk to you like a dog and then expect for you to go above and beyond. Leaders in my area act like they are in high school and that is the problem they have NO clue. Why are there so many directors and associate directors who do nothing while the folks under them get paid little and have all the stress of meeting unrealistic expectations?

I'm sorry but this entire post is just factually incorrect and intellectually dishonest. In my 20+ years of experience Humana has consistently rewarded its high performers. It isn't a popularity contest lol thats why we have interviews. Down vote all you want haters.

Wow, couldn’t have said this better myself. Exactly how I feel but could never quite put my finger on the cause. Culture is toxic and the yes men get ahead while the smart, innovative workers get pushed out, terminated unjustly or RIFed.Go Humana.
