The old GM is too big to fail argument.

I already kept em afloat in 2008…if they can’t manage a business correctly let go. The American government let several car companies go in the past ( AMC, Packered, Hudeson, etc.)

Maybe they should ask Korea for more money and call off the layoffs

GM sure got a lot of money from Korea to keep manufacturing operations there.

There have been many new uaw contracts since the government loan. None resulted in a single bankruptcy.

1. GM sold more cars than any other automaker and made record profits. Where are the losses that would necessitate a buyout? Get real! Do you live in reality or do you live in a fantasy world?
2. Another administration? When Biden and Mary are super tight? You are not using critical thinking.
3. Why do you want GM to fail? Do you understand what that would do to the economy in the Midwest? It would crush people financially. That’s not something you should root for!

Yeah gm willl sell a lot more cars when they have to raise prices for this pay raise. Middle class America can’t afford jack sh-t as it is now. If uaw gets this pay raise all I can say is a big fu-k you and I’ll be buying foreign.

Because they're doing an excellent job

People who operate from the angle of resentment and entitlement will never succeed, even when life rewards them for it.

There's an old saying that managing programmers is like herding cats.

They won't pull together because they're always going off in different directions thinking their way is best.

So they get taken advantage of by the companies.

I want to hear what these non-union mo--ns with college degrees have to say once UAW members get their raises.

Instead of asking why the UAW is asking for a 40% pay increase, ask why Detroit auto company CEOs got a 40% pay increase.
