over 100 elites huh?
IT, land admin and accounting are the worker bees of an oil company? bahahahahaha
Haha! The s—up using the “fart” analogy doesn’t have a cube on third floor! Haha! In the end it will all work out! Glad to have a job and if it doesn’t work out there is life after Denbury!
Since you brought up farts, one of the most important factors is the number of stalls to employees per floor.
How else are you going to fit everyone we need? I’ve worked in many different environments in offices and cubes. Both are nice and have different drawbacks. I’m sure both office and cubes will be really nice. Easier to focus on the positive, but if you can’t, maybe you should find another place that can offer you an office. Change is hard but don’t make this move tougher than it needs to be. Be happy to work where you do or go somewhere else. If it is a virus concern, management will make the smart decisions and not have people come back to soon. As far as management being spread out on different floors or more than one area, what do you expect? Come on, every company is like that and that’s a load of bull about having it divide us. You are the one dividing us. Maybe in fantasy land everyone can sit in one large room together all equal with the same amount of pens, pencils, and monitor sizes singing songs in perfect harmony while no one rips out a fart. But that world doesn’t exist and no one wants that world. We all have different paths and choices in life. Want a different one, go seize it.
They had floorplans available. The tenth floor didn't look like it would be much different than the floorplan they showed.
The new Denbury will be very divided, much like our country. In the new building, the elites have the offices and sweeping views on the upper floors while the worker bee G & A staff is all crammed in cubes on the third floor! Kind of like the show “Upstairs, Downstairs”! The elites will all come down to the third floor to go to the cafe so us worker bees will constantly be disrupted by the elites trudging back and forth to get their snacks. Very sad but good to know where we stand in the eyes of our leaders.
They Are remodeling it so it won’t look like the video.
Over half in cubes I heard.
New office going to cost 18 mil a year like the old one or did we get a discount to a low price of 17,999,999.99?
There weren't many cubicles at all on the tenth floor last Friday during the tour. Nor in the virtual tours of three floors, sent out via email.
I hope everyone in Plano enjoys their cubicle.

I resent that comment, some of aren't slackers and put in an honest days work.
GPS came about because management thinks everyone is a thief. Funny thing is the top level of this company is the most corrupt group ive ever seen
If the field guys weren't such slackers they wouldn't have be GPS tracked.
Thats right i forgot the extra hour of grueling work to take every other friday off
9 hours* we work 9/80 around here slacker
Im sure they stay busy for their whole 8 hour home shift
Definitely seems that way. All COVID has done is help people hide their laziness and inter office affairs even more. It’s sad to see the lack of integrity of some of our coworkers.
One of the many stupid ideas that put us in bankruptcy
Most don’t like Wood. It’s one person on the Wood train and he was the same one on the PRC train too. Lining pockets.
Denbury is riding the WOOD train. All day and all night
not until wood takes your job
They will get rid of the useless geologists first. No need for G&G.
Better call in PRC group to determine who can be let go
Time for another RIF.
Don't be jealous haters, working from home has been hard work. I'm struggling with multitasking between the TV and my emails
What departments are doing work with no deliverables where you can easily see what's being done and who's doing what? If you have a lot of people flying under the radar maybe there's time being wasted on unimportant things?
Now go pat yourself on the back some more. Don't forget to tell your boss too.
Everyone i know also is "working very hard from home"
The immaturity on here is shocking. Everyone I know is working hard, at home or in the office.
I am ready to be back in the office, I miss my coworkers!
Chris?
Going to be a lot of "new terms" now that we are run by private equity guys. they are shrewd!
Oh no the people working from home have the highest stress level and need the most pay
Sad commentary. I suspect those of us busy and working the hardest are paid the least!
I work very hard from home. At least put in a hard 15 minutes a day
Huh? What department do you work in?
such a childish mentality
