It doesn't look like labor challenges are starting to abate

Executives are talking about grappling with labor challenges and stressing that labor challenges are beginning to abate but I don't get that impression. Most of us are overworked because there are not enough employees. I’m not the only one who would most rather get out of here ASAP.

Seriously, it’s WM, are you truly after a career with WM? What do you tell your children?

We have enough employees, the problem is they keep cutting hours. How can you only have three people on a CAP team most days and get trucks unloaded and merchandise stocked. I have gone from four days a week part-time for the past five years to now getting just two days a week and sometimes only one day a week. I am looking for another job who will give me more hours. Same goes for the rest of the people I work with. Even the full-timers are only getting minimal hours. So it is not a lack of people but a lack of letting people work who want to work.

@9aep+1h7Q3OXn: that’s true. The available work force right now is pretty messed up. The quality of applicants is poor, at best.

Hire hire hire. But from where the applicant pool sucks.
Most people already worked for the company and were terminated for absences, job abandonment or integrity
