I want to talk about the real problems at fab8. Not fake ones like understaffing, poor management or low pay that the serial complainers here post.
So you're probably wondering what the real problems are. Well, here:

The author of this thread is jealous they can’t afford a pickup truck and could only afford a Honda Fit, because their bachelor’s in 17th Century Gender Fluidity could only yield a job as a Cafe dishwasher.

Real class is appreciating the backbone of the biggest and best fab in the industry, which was built by the brightest and best the unions have to offer. We built those bathrooms, and put in those extra supports underneath, and we’ll use them as break rooms whenever we want. Deal with it!

What is your issue with the trades guys? They are the ones who built this place and keep it humming like a well oiled machine. I will gladly put up with neon green vests and foul odors so long as they keep up the good work. Show some respect.
There were promises of larger parking spaces, but you know how this works… motorcycles and compact cars will just take them anyways.
I’m a GF employee and drive a truck. So I’m only supposed to have one if I work construction?
the trades guys are on site installing new tools. They do seem to cause a lot of alarms while doing it.
Wait until it's colder out and we'll have to wait in line behind the trades guys to use the restrooms. Why are there so many of them on-site, and what do they actually do, besides purposely break things and charge double to repair it?
@OP I know you're being facetious, but the pickup trucks are gonna get someone hurt one of these days.
The parking spots just aren't made for them. They stick out at least 2-3 feet making it dangerous for any car pulling out of their spot next to one with a larger blind spot. Then there are the ones that park next to and encroach on the walking lanes in the middle of the front lots. And finally the ones that are backed into spots next to sidewalks and take up half of the sidewalk, or more if they have a towing hitch.
And I think the spirit of your post of people driving gas guzzlers unnecessarily, penalize them for that and create oversized vehicle parking in the back lots somewhere.
The pickup trucks belong to the 6000 trades guys in neon green attire who hang out in our bathrooms all day; or randomly walk around in groups doing absolutely nothing.
