I work at a wholefoods where everyone is always speaking Spanish which is against the company policy. Should I bother calling?

My alt in prep foods @ wsnc steals, sleeps in her car on the clock, leaves the property on the clock, and a number of other things. She's even been reported to STL but nothing has been done. Is it worth calling the number?

So if I had the manager of the store prevent me from calling the nurse line about a serious injury telling me they were worried about exaggeration I shouldn’t call?

If you call on someone that’s protected in the Northeast they sit around and try to figure out who called so they can retaliate.

It’s a risk to call, they’d rather know who is calling rather than what it is you say.

Wholefoods Shreveport is the worst at billing morale. Your treatment is as if your less then. Only the whites are listen to.The leaders walk around and never speak. The company preach core value. But it doesn’t exist. The company says we have a voice but we don’t. But God is always going to be in charge. Am praying for this company. It could be a great place to work. But it’s the leadership. No morale. I often think what God do these people serve to think superior to others. God bless them all. So Sad.

This website is more effective than the tip line. The last thing that they want is employees talking freely among themselves about what a truly horrible corporation we work for. #wholefoodsmarket

Sucking that corporate d--ck is the only way to the top, just ask Jane Mueller, and Christina Minardi. #TeamWFM

it's a f---ing joke. I reported my STL for sexual harassment and bullying, with video proof of the sexual harassment. They (regional leadership) pretended to take it seriously, even having people involved give statements, and then blew it off. After a few couple months of nothing, I was being told that my STL was asking around about me "being negative" or "having a bad attitude", and I knew he was looking for a way to get rid of me, so I bailed. Whole Foods sells lies, and could give a f--- about their Team Members. A wise man once told me it's all about who ya know and who ya blow, which is extremely evident at Whole Foods Market.

I was told by a fired TM that she reported our ASTL for being drunk on the job. The TM was separated days after the report and the ASTL was transferred to another store.

How about the tip line liars. Those who lie to simply attempt to get someone in trouble because they cannot handle expectations or don't like their boss. These calls are what ruins the legit concerns .Truth. YM

I thought it was anonymous. How do they know who it is? If I got fired over an "anonymous tip line" I'd sue.

@EWJYzno-1xfs

I've noticed that those in leadership are really good at retaliating by getting certain team members for little things that they normally let everyone else get away with.

They take it very seriously in that it brings the heat on the pbs, stl etc temporarily. But everyone I've ever know that's called it, legitimate or not, has been separated very soon thereafter.

Someone called at my store about safety issues and regional came down on the stl to check on the progress..i think it depends on the issue and how it can be verified

Use common sense here - unless you have something that's really major to report, the hot line will not help you at all. as @jrf said below, they will side with the #STL always (unless the STL has her/his own issues) - however, if you have a major thing to report, they will consider it as it becomes a #legal thing at that point, they need to build a paper trail and they will thread lightly. I am not saying do not do it, but I would be very selective about what to report, do not think that you are phoning a friend there - the line was primarily established to protect #WFM - if they have one they can say, look what we did - we are playing by the rules and we are proactive in the fight about xyz (the use the same tactics when it comes to all that anti-harassment training, compliance, etc) They, WFM management, do not care about you getting educated or professionaly developed, all they want is to be able to say - look, we told her/him not to harass, we even trained her/him - so it's a good way for the company to decrease #harassment #legalliability)

Nope. Unless you are dealing with a third party aka Union it doesn't matter!!! Tip line >>>TMS>>>>STL. So it doesn't matter!!! TMS doesn't protect tm's best interest. They work for the company. You are better off reporting to the media or getting a lawyer.

I was fired the very next day. I had only used it once in a 15 year career. Tip lines are not what they say they.

Yes! Depends on your STL. If you have a fair STL, they'll follow up with the original issue. If they're a corrupt dog, you'll never hear about an issue. Regional will always side with whatever the STL wants to do, as long as the STL isn't on the fence to be fired themselves.
