Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

Anyone approved FMLA after paid time off

Once the 4 weeks paid time off ( with a doctors letter stating needing to self quarantine) is used up has anyone been approved for FMLA?

Wow, not just your garden variety bootlicker but a high risk of infection and death bootlicker. Good luck try not to die.

PS thanks for talking sh– about those of us who don't want to die but you do you.

I am on immune-suppressing d–gs for a disease, so at high risk. I stuck it out as long as I could, they had to make a choice to go out as more and more covid cases climbed in my NY store both in employees and customers. Much like the post below, I too have been home, only leaving the house ONCE in a month for an emergency and used protective equip when I did, and ran in and out of the store quickly.
Today, I have made the choice to go back. I was offered "personal time" if I felt it was still unsafe to return but I suppose that meant using my sick, vac, hol, accrued time.
Numbers have been falling, the HCQ + AZ + ZI has shown excellent results in treatment.
The mortality rate is 1 in 1000. You have a better chance of being hit by lightning 4 times! But I guess it all depends on who you believe, and what BS MSM channel you being brain washed from.

Bottom line is, we all have a hard time getting facts to even make a rational decision. Mine is, I cant hide forever. We all need jobs, money, etc.

Im going back today. I have a N95 mask, and am told the store provides them too. My store has done what it can - put up shields, marked floors, disinfects, etc. To all those blaming Lowe;s, I find that very unfair. They too are victims in this and for as bad as I think Marvin is for Lowe's, I have to say he handled this quite well.
He allowed everyone to be off and paid all that qualified for the Gov guidelines. Hes paying employees an extra $2 an hour for an entire month. There is a lot to criticize him for, but how he has handled this scamdemic isnt one of them.

So I am returning, and at high risk. And in NY, the epicenter. So? If I dont get covid19, is it just a hoax? Ill keep you all updated.

"My 4 weeks will be up next week and so I am taking unpaid emergency leave. I have been self quarantined at home and have NOT been out shopping. I am at home being safe. The store where I work(ed) is VERY unsafe. No distancing, employees huddled in tight groups, cashiers not protected and the garden center where I work(ed) is packed with people risking their lives to buy f'ing MULCH. A nightmare."

My doctor wants me to stay out for another 30 days. I'll be requesting FMLA and will update.

Most of those that are out at my store will be coming back next week. They have sudden immunity to this. Some have even been seen shopping at our store. Go to another Lowe’s fool and buy your non essentials for you company paid 4 week vacation.

I can guarantee that when they come back they will be just standing at their desks doing as little work as possible and not helping with code 3’s or pulling Internet orders like the rest of us have been doing while they were out.
