ISPs are happening! They want to keep it quiet and pretend that you’re safe, but don’t believe them.

Wasting billions of dollars on stock buybacks may temporarily raise the stock price slightly (helpful if you're an executive cashing in options), but doesn't create shareholder value.
Shareholder value?
How's the stock price doing?
They want to spend money creating shareholder value. The executives just happen to get a large portion of their compensation in stock.
It's not about not having money but not wanting to spend it on anything but executive bonuses.
GM just announced record profits so it's hard for them to claim they don't have any money.
It's harder to lie about your finances when you're a public company and can go to jail for lying.
Contractors were let go at the end of april.
It’s time for the UAW contract to be renewed and GM needs to show their out of money even though the opposite is true.
Is September the end of the fiscal year?
The contractors calendar ends September, the rest od the months are TBD.
If you want to prove that layoffs won't happen, you should find your own source instead of demanding that someone else out their source,
Not everyone understands logic.
The choices are:
- You know a thing is true as shown by evidence.
- You know a thing is false as shown by evidence.
- You don't know if a thing is true or false because there isn't enough (or any) evidence.
So something isn't "fake" (#2) without evidence, it's #3. You don't know if it's true or false.

Double standard.
"I heard from an HR person" - Hearsay. No evidence.
"more will be coming this summer another 500 based on performance or not" No evidence.
Provide a real source for this or it's fake. It's that simple.
"Fake" should mean you have evidence of what really happened and it's different from what was said, not that you don't like what was said even if it may be true.
@6uwb+1mFA10Nc
Fake
Ya I heard from an HR person that I know that more will be coming this summer another 500 based on performance or not. In the fall if UAW negotiations do not go well then you could easily see another thousand or two.
2/3 of every GM group do almost nothing so this should be fun to watch.
If they fire you for poor performance, they don't have to give you severance since it's for cause.
Cheaper way to reduce head count.
No ISP, they will just give out low performance reviews in the areas they want to trim.
GM really should clean house.
Attendance has really dropped off.
Tally up those slackers and send out the notices!!!
PS I won’t feel sorry for you when it happens.
If you aren’t doing much, no one will notice you are gone.
No one wants to live like they could lose their job at any minute for no good reason, and then have to try to replace their income in a bad job market that everyone says is going into recession.
If there are ISPs or not, what difference does it make? layoffs/termination happen all the time. Work and anticipate the worst and move on with life, and if you feel such place is too stressful to work, take the most you can from it then move on to greener pastures or less turdier pastures.
I don't know if ISPs are happening now or not, but I do know that they did small quiet layoffs in the year before the last big layoff.
It's happened before, so it's at least possible.
ISP’s are definitely happening!
GM employees like to insult other people's intelligence. Superiority complex Motors. OP is a troll.
There's only one lie here and it's coming from the OP.
Troll score: 1 (out of 10).
I sincerely hope this person isn't a GM employee. Cognitive level is quite low.
Xfinity and Verzion are definitely in play.
In some areas...WOW. Always look out for a discount.
Proof?
