Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

EIP is plummeting

EIP just dropped 16% points in the past month...... And is now only 81%.

We are doomed!

for people who dont know, like the OP here, EIP is just the extra bonus we get, which will likely be a few thousand dollars less than what it was the last three years at max bonus. This is a results of needing to hit higher targets to company underwriting losses. Yes we get bonuses even when the company loses money since we dont have shareholders to enrich.

basically those of us who actually work for SF (lol OP) will be getting a few grand less for the bonus, but we will get a bonus no matter what. I use the bonus for fun so its whatever to me.

EIP dollar amount is still great based on current levels. And we are on course for great recovery by end of year. Calm yourself.

Never confuse education with intelligence. You can have a masters and still be an id--t.

Economy up. Insurance down. Economy down Insurance up. The economy has su-ked the past 4 years. Its time to change that curve.

What? The Claim Rep who won't return my call, and the Underwriter who cancelled my home might get a reduced bonus next year? That's it.....I'm finally done with State Farm.

I'm sure that your EIP is the #1 concern that customers have right now.

Guess they’ll only get 81% productivity from me. Good thing I work from home. Time to grab a nap.

@1ign every TM I know says when they are in office for the week it is the least productive week of the month. Each month is like a reunion and lots of visiting and catching up. They all agree WFH is way more productive than in office.

None and I mean NONE of you pencil pushers deserve more money. None of you produce anything. Strictly lip service and paper pushers. Go put in a real days work and do some physical work. Until then youre wannabe whiners.

@vfi+1uNfBRsi

this person keeps posting the same anti work from home message, identical in all posts , its propaganda from management to have the perception that employees can just walk away from their desk, they cannot, every 90 seconds it detects idle and starts recording the screen and audio and uploads it to HQ , they run reports and can access this recordings, they cannot even go to the bathroom without triggering this idle time, this is a metric and would be noticeable pretty fast. in reality WFH employees are more productive than than in office, heck if you go back to pre covid times employees were even less productive , we had more actual employees and less work got done, now with this amazon style work environment work its pretty much beats up on employees constantly.

But I work from home. Well if you can call kicking back and doing housework and a part time job on company time work. We won’t ever go back to the office full time. Try to make us and watch how quickly 80% of the workforce bails.
