Thread regarding AIG (American Intl Group Inc.) layoffs

July 2023 Layoffs

The goal is to track all the July 2023 layoffs. The goal is to make employees look like fools in front of Accenture and have Accenture take over all the jobs in their factory.

We have so many layers of security it's horrid to get access to anything. Granted, any business can be hacked but, I can't get access to the stuff I need and I'm inside! LoL!

Good luck with not dealing with offshore folks at AIG. I wouldn’t want to have a policy with this company. If they haven’t already been hacked and paid a ransom, then it’s only a matter of time.

It makes you wonder what AIG Will be in 5 years. It already feels like a shell company. Most of the employees work for a third party.

Yes and I knew way back in 2010 that they were coming for our jobs and sure enough by 2019 my department was outsourced to Manila Philippines in fact we got notified June 5th 2019 that we were going to train our replacements in Manila to take our jobs

Copied and pasted post below … now ask yourself ‘how fu---d up is this’ is this anyway to run a business he-l no … I once worked for AIG and in the GI WC when I attempted to move to another department the interview was grilling much more so than the actual interview to land my original job with AIG they do not reward you for your hard work

All the top performers were replaced by Accenture 2 years ago in my department. I saw first hand the reward for working above and beyond...you get shown the door. It's all about the money. If you make too much, they will find a way to replace you for cheaper workers. I do as little as possible after what I witnessed.

@3pdc+1n2sas9W - I was just like you. Top performer in my dept and bosses for several levels liked me. But one day our entire org was replaced by Accenture. You should worry. AIG is definitely a dumpster fire that's not going to end well...

I love AIG, not jocking.I get a good pay and do whatever I want (but I'm a top performer still), my bossess love me and I love them. I'm just worried because the senior management in the US clearly don't know what they are doing and I don't know honestly if AIG will exist in 5 years

I find it more and more frustrating working with Accenture staff. It takes FOREVER to get anything done now. I will confirm on my next job, that I do not have to work with any 3rd party overseas nonsense before I accept the job.
