What corporate culture?

No, it’s under the threshold to avoid reporting it. They are avoiding announcements so corporate culture is not damaged further and to avoid panic.

I’m kind of thinking it’s trolls. Because we would have heard of there were layoffs.

A couple significant layoffs today in LTCHO.

Weird I have not heard of any layoffs other than those posted on here. Maybe it was performance related?

So Jan 23rd prediction was correct as it appears. Hope folks will find jobs soon and never look back.

There is always something better, anything is better than Husky/Cenovus.

Three years ago today (January 26) I lost my job as part of the first round of merger layoffs. I took some time off. Found a new better position. Have since retired. Thank you Cenovus for the push. I probably would have stuck around doing same old stuff in my tiny call-center cubicle. But life is too short to hate every minute of it.

Trust me, you are SO much better off away from there. I was there 9 years and it is unbelievable how much better other companies are. I don’t have to compete with my team members, my manager doesn’t take credit for my work and there isn’t the fear of speaking up. You are far better off.

The sooner Alex leaves Cenovus, the better. We can spare another $12M. We can do much better job and spare this money for good things

They let me go today after 6 years in refinery ops. Unbelievable !!

All those big heads on the executive leadership team and the only way they can come up with to increase the bottom line is layoffs. Layoffs are the only constant at CVE.
